About The Position

OrthoFi is seeking a Director of Product to lead their Practice Growth product domain. This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the Denver Office twice a week. The Director will be responsible for setting the strategy to help customers convert prospective patients into active ones by building tools, workflows, and intelligence. Financial offer optimization is a key part of this strategy. The ideal candidate is curious about customers, strategically clear, and capable of improving their team's performance. The Practice Growth domain encompasses the patient experience, practice operations, and financial performance, focusing on the journey from first contact to a signed agreement and first payment. This includes understanding the experience of practice staff and patients, as well as the digital interactions supporting the conversion process. The role requires a deep understanding of both the conversion experience and its economics, as financial offer complexity significantly impacts conversion rates, upfront cash flow, and payment completion. The Director will own this domain end-to-end, defining strategy, driving outcomes, and leading a team of high performers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience.
  • 3+ years of team leadership experience.
  • Experience owning a domain end-to-end and driving strategy that moved a meaningful business outcome in a SaaS environment at $20M+ ARR or equivalent scale.
  • A history of going deep on important work and improving output through that involvement.
  • Proven track record of making Product Managers better through coaching and direct feedback.
  • Financial and analytical fluency, comfortable at the intersection of conversion economics, credit and payment risk, and lender relationships.
  • Executive and cross-functional presence, able to represent the domain independently to senior leadership and key partners.
  • Genuine AI fluency, actively using AI in personal work and understanding where machine learning creates compounding leverage.
  • Experience building a product that helps a business guide a customer through a high-stakes, in-person buying decision where financial terms are core to conversion.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

  • Experience in orthodontics, dental, or healthcare is a genuine advantage for ramp speed.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision, outcome targets, and roadmap for Practice Growth.
  • Coordinate across product domains, assess market trends and customer feedback, and be accountable for business results.
  • Lead and develop a small product team, setting clear goals, providing direct feedback, and fostering professional growth.
  • Model rigorous product work, including writing briefs, shaping discovery, and raising the bar for the team.
  • Lead the team through the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and testing assumptions to delivery, GTM, and measurement.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Finance, and Engineering.
  • Represent the domain credibly and independently to executive leadership and key partners.
  • Identify opportunities for intelligent solutions and encourage the team to use AI in their work and product development.
  • Shape the direction of applied intelligence within the Practice Growth domain, focusing on probabilistic approaches that create genuine leverage.
