About The Position

nCino is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead product managers and cross-functional teams in delivering AI-powered products and platforms across the nCino Mortgage suite. This role involves setting the AI product vision and strategy, championing the responsible application of machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics. The position owns the full scope, including defining budgets, identifying resources, and monitoring programs from initiation through delivery, while maintaining close connections with external clients. This is a thought leadership position, providing technical advice and direction, and representing nCino's AI product perspective in the market and with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience and 4+ years of management experience or combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of the small business banking and consumer space in relation to both processes and regulations
• Advanced understanding of software development processes, technologies, and methodologies.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to plan and deliver products in an agile environment
• Demonstrable ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirements
• This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites (<10%)

Responsibilities

• Actively create and receive input from team to define 18 to 24 month roadmap with ACV targets for what is to be worked on
• Creating vision and strategy to succeed
• Ensure solutions on roadmap are tied to corporate objectives
• Pave the way with Sales and Success leadership to ensure appropriate revenue and adoption forecasting has taken place to justify the investments
• Initiate new or revised programs / operating policies for across department and multiple teams
• Leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance product decision-making, identify customer behavior patterns, forecast trends, and uncover unmet needs.
• Apply AI-powered analytics to validate product assumptions, track adoption, and surface opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering to explore and integrate AI/ML features that add value to the customer experience while staying informed on emerging technologies and their potential application across the product lifecycle.
• Act as career coach and advisor to management or senior professionals to ensure attraction and retention of high level talent
