About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Product Management to define and drive the strategic direction of our product portfolio while building a high-performing, disciplined product management function. This leader owns the “why” and “what” of the product — setting vision, shaping strategy, and defining customer and business value. They will play a critical role in transforming ClarisHealth from a customer-led organization to a product-led company, where deep customer insight informs proactive, outcome-driven innovation. This role operates in close partnership with the VP of Product Delivery, who owns execution through Product Owners, Delivery, and supporting functions. Together, these leaders ensure strong alignment between strategy and execution, while maintaining clear accountability and role clarity across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level role leading both product strategy and a team of product managers.
  • Deep mastery of product management principles, frameworks, and best practices — with a proven record of building and scaling product management functions, not just individual products.
  • Certification in Pragmatic Institute (Product Management or Beyond Requirements level preferred), or equivalent strategic product management training — with demonstrated ability to apply these frameworks organizationally, not just individually.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools such as Jira, Aha!, Miro, Productboard, or similar.
  • Background in healthcare, payment integrity, or other regulated industries required — able to navigate complex compliance and operational environments.
  • Visionary and strategic thinker with strong business acumen — able to connect product decisions to organizational outcomes and articulate a bold, inspiring product point of view to executives, customers, and the broader team.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with both executive and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop product managers directly, and to elevate product management capability indirectly across cross-functional teams — creating alignment, shared language, and a culture of outcome-driven execution.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making, leveraging metrics, customer insights, and market data to set direction and measure success.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and delivery management capabilities in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record building product management functions from the ground up or at a critical inflection point — including process design, team development, and cultural transformation — not just delivering individual products.
  • Embodies ClarisHealth values: Compassionate, Communicator, Challenger
  • Promotes a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Thrives in a high-accountability, team-oriented environment
  • Brings curiosity, adaptability, and a forward-looking mindset, including enthusiasm for AI-driven innovation.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. ClarisHealth is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas.
