About The Position

Acumatica is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the strategy for its Construction and Services product lines. This role is central to transforming how construction and service organizations operate by integrating financials, projects, field operations, and service delivery into a comprehensive, full-lifecycle solution. The position will increasingly incorporate AI and reports to the SVP, Product Management. The company is open to hiring remotely anywhere in the United States. The role involves owning and evolving the strategy for Construction Edition (serving general contractors, subcontractors, specialty trades), Service Management (supporting field service, maintenance, asset-based operations), and Professional Services Edition (focused on the service sector). This is a significant opportunity to build on an existing product foundation, expand into adjacent markets, define how a modern ERP platform serves project- and service-based industries, and embrace AI in both daily work and product delivery. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, deep product expertise, and a clear vision for the industry's future.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Product Management, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience in construction tech, ERP, field service, or professional services platforms.
  • Track record of delivering complex SaaS products at scale.
  • Experience expanding products into new verticals or adjacent markets.
  • Strong product strategy and roadmap leadership skills.
  • Ability to connect product decisions to customer value and business outcomes.
  • Experience working across platform-based products and ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to lead and scale teams.
  • Strong communicator who can align across executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience leading through change and transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the multi-year product strategy across Construction, Service Management, and Professional Services, connecting it to the corporate strategy.
  • Identify and drive expansion into adjacent workflows and verticals.
  • Define differentiated solutions that unify back-office, project, and field operations, delivering value where work is performed.
  • Weave AI into the product strategy to deliver true customer value.
  • Lead and grow a team of Product Managers aligned to customer value streams.
  • Drive clarity, focus, and prioritization to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Improve speed and predictability of delivery through strong product practices.
  • Build deep expertise in construction, service, and professional services workflows.
  • Articulate how AI will positively disrupt Construction and Services.
  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and prospects to inform product direction.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in industry transformation.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth through new capabilities, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Help define and execute build vs. buy vs. partner strategy.
  • Support integration of new solutions into a cohesive platform experience.
  • Help evolve the Product & Engineering operating model as the company scales.
  • Foster a strong “one team” culture across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
