Our Filtration and Industrial Nets & Nonwovens businesses are poised for growth, and we are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the category's transformation. This leader will leverage market and customer insights to shape growth strategies, unlock new market opportunities, and build an innovation pipeline that delivers differentiated solutions and sustainable value for customers and stakeholders. The Director of Product Management is responsible for shaping business strategy and portfolio direction for strategic and global categories. This role owns the product roadmap, leads go-to-market and marketing strategies, drives portfolio optimization, and is accountable for improving business profitability through disciplined mix management and value creation initiatives.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Business, Marketing or Technical field (Mechanical/Chemical/Material Engineering)
  • 7+ years of professional job-related experience
  • Demonstrated performance leading high performing team
  • Travel requirements: 15%

  • 5+ years of product management, marketing or related experience
  • Demonstrated performance and skill in market/business development
  • Experience in filtration solutions (mobility, industrial, cleanroom, process liquids, mechanical power) and energy solutions (mobility, industrial, energy storage systems, data center)

Responsibilities

  • Lead product management team to initiate projects to develop and/or improve products aligned with business segment strategy
  • Develop specific business plans including opportunity size, product requirements and value proposition
  • Execute project plans, actively manage development and commercialization projects working closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Operations
  • Drive programs through stage gate innovation process, delivering on time and in full to the market
  • Partner with sales leadership to uncover customer insights and create mutual growth opportunities
  • Create compelling, multi-year category plans designed to accelerate growth across global marketplace using insights, trends and technical capability mapping
  • Lead white space opportunity development from market identification and scoping to execution
  • Perform research to develop clear understanding of markets, customers, competition, relative performance, positioning and right to win for products
  • Work with Sales, Operations, R&D and other partners to assess gaps in technology and manufacturing capabilities in implementing product road map and develop plans to address
  • Establish pricing and pricing strategy for portfolio and perform ongoing work to improve pricing and margin
  • Manage portfolio to maximize revenue, profit and operational efficiency while minimizing inventory
  • Guide product management teams in sales training on product attributes, reasons to believe, and market insights
  • Endorse sales tools-Collateral, Product Demos/Sample Kits, Website, Advertising, Press Releases, White Papers, etc. in partnership with Marketing Communications
  • Assist in developing content and presenting innovations & insights to strategic customers
  • Collaborate with marketing communications and demand generation partners to develop integrated marketing plans - including trade shows, promotional materials, product sheets, advertising plans, etc.
  • Develop and implement method of measuring returns on marketing investments
