We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader who balances rigorous technical definition with deep market empathy. In this role, you will accelerate growth, anticipate future networking and security paradigms, and lead cross-functional initiatives to transition the traditional network edge into an elastic, intelligent, and highly available security fabric.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping enterprise networking, security, or cloud infrastructure at massive scale.
  • Strong systems engineering mindset with an exceptional capacity to conceptualize and deliver clean, complex system-level specifications.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing complex monetization constructs, linking technical milestones to financial outcomes, and executing large customer commitments.
  • Strong background partnering with Sales and Marketing to enable field teams and align product roadmaps with market demand.
  • Exceptional ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present data-driven insights to executive leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with modern product development lifecycles and utilizing AI tools for product definition, telemetry synthesis, and workflow optimization.
  • Proven experience building and scaling Product-Led Growth (PLG) motions, including in-app onboarding, self-service expansion, and usage-based growth levers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Portfolio Growth: Pivot product strategy to capture expansion across modern data centers, campus environments, and distributed branches.
  • Portfolio Optimization & Customer Success: Identify critical technological and business gaps within the NGFW portfolio that hinder market adoption, and proactively architect strategies to resolve them.
  • System-Level Specifications: Translate high-level business and transformational goals into rigorous system-level specification definitions, bridging product, engineering, and architecture teams.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Partnership: Work in lockstep with GTM and Product Marketing (PMM) to develop high-conversion sales plays, pricing strategies, and launch plans that translate new capabilities into quantifiable customer value.
  • Competitive Landscape Mastery: Maintain a dynamic understanding of the competitive landscape to establish clear technological differentiation and secure market leadership.
  • AI Tool Integration & Workflows: Champion the adoption of advanced AI tools across product definition, telemetry synthesis, and automated product lifecycle workflows.
  • Modernize NGFW/PAN-OS: Shape the architectural evolution of NGFW/PAN-OS, developing capabilities focused tightly on converged networking and robust security.
  • Cross-Functional Adoption: Monitor capability adoption and drive cross-functional engagements across product lines (NGFW, Prisma Access, SASE, and CDSS) to create an absolute customer preference for Palo Alto Networks.
  • AI-Driven Data Center Fabrics: Spearhead security architecture for next-generation AI data centers by scaling firewall clusters dynamically, managing ultra-high throughput with integrated load balancing, and embedding inline AI threat defense and model data sanitization.
  • Sovereign & Regulated Markets: Drive the strategy for regional compliance and data privacy sovereignty, ensuring architectures align seamlessly with global regulatory mandates.
  • Air-Gapped & On-Premise Infrastructures: Architect seamless, zero-touch provisioning and deployment workflows tailored for secure, completely isolated, and disconnected private environments.
  • Ecosystem Integration & Network Evolution: Drive stack consolidation by integrating adjacent capabilities (such as web proxies, load balancing etc) while embedding robust L2–L7 protocols directly into the core platform to maximize ecosystem synergy.
