About The Position

Healthcare organizations face persistent challenges in provider data management, with practitioners navigating multiple systems to join a single payer network, leading to inefficiencies and compliance issues. This fragmented infrastructure drives up costs, delays network expansion, results in unpaid claims, and creates gaps in patient access. Certify is solving this by building the data infrastructure to power the next generation of provider technology, making healthcare more efficient. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Director of Product Management to lead our customer-facing product teams, responsible for the Applications layer that delivers differentiated solutions on top of Certify’s platform. This leader will define and drive the vision for how healthcare organizations experience our products — from onboarding and workflows to insights and reporting — ensuring our applications deliver measurable value to customers and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the SVP of Product, this role will lead a team of product managers focused on building intuitive, high-impact products that address customer pain points while leveraging the scale and power of our platform. The ideal candidate will combine deep product management expertise with a passion for solving complex customer problems, ensuring our application suite continuously drives adoption, satisfaction, and business growth.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling successful customer-facing products in enterprise or healthcare technology.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience coaching PMs into senior leaders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with executive audiences.
  • Relentless focus on success metrics to track the value you and your team are delivering.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare technology, particularly with provider data, claims, or interoperability.
  • Background in balancing customer needs with regulatory/compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation, analytics, or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product strategy and vision for Certify’s suite of customer-facing applications.
  • Work closely with customers to deeply understand their challenges, workflows, and needs, identifying opportunities where Certify can deliver transformative value.
  • Act as the primary voice of the customer across the product organization, ensuring customer insights shape priorities without dictating them.
  • Balance being customer-driven with maintaining a long-term strategic vision; avoid being purely customer-led.
  • Establish success metrics and frameworks that measure the business and customer impact of application features.
  • Build a multi-year roadmap for applications that drives adoption, retention, and customer outcomes.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of customer-facing features and products that drive measurable customer and business value.
  • Ensure product development processes include robust discovery, validation, and tracking of outcomes against defined success metrics.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Go-To-Market, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality experiences at speed.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve usability, customer workflows, and the ability to track and report provider data effectively.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance of products post-launch, ensuring sustained impact.
  • Ensure that product initiatives are aligned with company-wide goals and that success metrics roll up to organizational KPIs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers focused on customer-facing products.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and outcomes-driven product development.
  • Provide mentorship on prioritization, hypothesis-driven product development, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape product org structure as the company grows.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to understand customer needs, support adoption, and inform product roadmaps.
