About The Position

Bosch Home Comfort is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Line CTG & Head Plant Controller. This leadership role is responsible for driving financial integrity, operational transparency, and business performance across our Product Line and Operations divisions. This role will serve as a key finance business partner to senior leadership, ensuring financial governance while enabling data-driven decision-making. The candidate will oversee a team of 8–10 finance professionals and will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the business across sites, including facilities in Wichita, KS; Norman, OK; Cienega, Mexico; and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and controllership experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing multi-site or multi-plant financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing finance principles.
  • Experience with international operations and cross-border financial management (experience with Brazil a plus).
  • Willingness to travel to plant locations in Wichita, Norman, Cienega, and Brazil as required.

  • Familiarity with Bosch global finance standards and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience leading finance teams through ERP implementations or system migrations.
  • Proficiency in SAP or comparable ERP systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with senior operational and commercial leaders.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual capability (English/Portuguese or English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner for the Product Line leadership team, providing strategic financial analysis, insight, and decision support.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the Product Line ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on Product Line KPIs, including profitability, cost of goods sold, gross margin, and return on investment.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities within the Product Line groups by proactively communicating findings to senior leadership with recommended actions.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure financial alignment across the full value chain.
  • Provide controllership oversight for all four manufacturing plants, ensuring consistent financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with Bosch global standards.
  • Partner with the controllership managers and operations leadership to drive cost efficiency, monitor manufacturing variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee plant-level budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating results across sites into unified financial views for leadership.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all plant locations.
  • Drive standardization of financial processes and reporting frameworks across Wichita, Norman, Cienega, and Brazil operations.
  • Monitor capital expenditure planning and tracking at each plant site, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and strategic priorities.
  • Navigate cross-border controllership requirements for the Brazil operation, including local statutory compliance, currency management, and intercompany accounting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 8–10 finance and controlling professionals across plant sites and functional areas.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the controlling team.
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance objectives for each team member; conduct regular performance reviews and coaching conversations.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top finance talent in support of organizational growth and succession planning.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment across all areas of responsibility, ensuring compliance with Bosch accounting policies, US GAAP, and applicable local regulations.
  • Lead or support internal and external audit activities, coordinating timely and complete responses to audit inquiries.
  • Champion financial process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Ensure data integrity within ERP and financial reporting systems (SAP preferred).
