About The Position

The Director of Process Engineering is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the organization's engineering strategy in alignment with its mission and long-term objectives. This position oversees the entire engineering function, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and FAA/EASA regulations while driving continuous improvement across systems and processes. The role requires a visionary leader who can build and sustain a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability, while developing streamlined, intuitive workflows that enable production operators and inspectors to perform their work accurately and consistently. The Director also serves as the primary engineering liaison to key stakeholders and customers, ensuring alignment, transparency, and trust. In addition to strategic leadership, the role includes direct oversight of multiple engineering disciplines-including process, quality, test, configuration management, and floor support-while managing team leads, driving performance, and fostering talent development. The Director is accountable for end-to-end project execution, resource allocation, and operational performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Core responsibilities also include advancing process innovation through technology adoption, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, maintaining robust quality management systems, and mitigating technical and operational risks. This position demands strong expertise in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments, with a focus on data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and sustainable value creation.
