About The Position

The Director of Premium Food & Beverage Hospitality oversees and manages all premium food and beverage operations within the designed venue of the New York City Football Club (NYCFC). The New York City Football Club is a professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer. The club is preparing to open its first-ever soccer-specific stadium, a state-of-the-art 25,000-seat venue at Etihad Park in Queens, New York. Scheduled to open for the 2027 season, the stadium will set a new standard for fan experience, with premium hospitality playing a central role in its design and offerings.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Unwavering commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership and management skills
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of Legends and management
  • Must be available to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Experience with Appetize and NCR/Quest point-of-sales systems is required
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays including all games and major stadium events.

  • Experience in a union work environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all facets of premium food and beverage operations to achieve operational budgets, manage monthly P&L statements, and ensure that all financial reporting is accurate.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to staff responsible for executing the premium business plan.
  • Achieved planned costs in labor and COGS and work within budgeted guidelines.
  • Develop annual operating budget and quarterly reviews vs plan.
  • Provide quality service and excellent products while maintaining positive customer and client relations and prudent financial practices.
  • Oversee monthly inventory for premium services operations.
  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as creating a working relationship with local health officials.
  • Ensuring proper operational condition of all food service equipment, integration and implementation of technology for a smooth and seamless guest experience
  • Work closely with subcontractors to ensure all operational needs are met, and the terms of contract are followed.
  • Develop new concepts that best serve the desires of our guests and incorporate industry trends.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train and further the abilities of all event service staff.
  • Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.
  • Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
  • Complete other duties assigned by management.
  • Available to work none-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)
