About The Position

The Director of Preconstruction will be responsible for overseeing all preconstruction activities. This includes managing the preconstruction team, developing project strategies, and ensuring accurate cost estimates and schedules. The role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices. The Director will collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to achieve project goals and maintain profitability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in preconstruction or a related field.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent estimating and scheduling skills.
Proficiency in preconstruction software and tools.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CCM, LEED AP).

Responsibilities
