About The Position

This role is critical in bridging project development execution with broader corporate strategy, ensuring alignment between corporate investment guideline, day-to-day execution, and overall company objectives. The ideal candidate will act as a key interface across development team, development support teams and executives/decision makers, effective coordination between project execution and corporate investment decision-making processes. Accordingly, The ideal candidate should have a capability to build and review the project economics model and communicate with internal stakeholders, and a financial acumen to support the investment decision. In parallel, the role will support co-management responsibilities within a 50:50 joint venture structure with a major utility-scale renewable energy partner with the governance oversight. The candidate will facilitate alignment across the JV Board and cross-functional stakeholders, including finance, technical, development, and legal teams, to enable timely and effective decision-making and project execution. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including development, project finance, engineering, project control, PMO, M&A and Legal to ensure seamless project execution and regulatory compliance. In addition, the candidate will regularly monitor and report on the status and progress of ongoing projects, providing structured updates to Head of Project Team, CPO (Chief Portfolio Officer) and CEO (Chief Executive Officer), ensuring full visibility on timelines, milestones, and key risks. The role also includes reviewing and analyzing project budgets versus actual expenditures, identifying variances, and forecasting future financial requirements to support proactive planning and resource allocation. The candidate will prepare comprehensive management reports detailing project progress, budget performance, key risks, and potential opportunities. Furthermore, the candidate will conduct in-depth market research and analysis to keep the company informed of relevant market trends, supply chain developments (including key component industries), and regulatory changes that may impact both ongoing and future projects.The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management. All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in investment, corporate strategy, strategic development, investment, or similar roles within complex organizations
  • Strong financial analysis and advanced financial modeling skills, with the ability to evaluate, challenge, and present key business and investment assumptions
  • Proficiency in business management tools, data analysis platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience preparing executive-level presentations and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Highly motivated, fast learner, and strong problem-solving capabilities with a high level of ownership and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Provide investment decision support across development projects, including evaluation of project economics, returns, and key investment assumptions
  • Manage and track Investment Review Committee processes, ensuring timely preparation of materials and decision governance
  • Support development of project monetization and divestment strategies, and manage end-to[1]end project sale processes, including participation in deal-specific transaction teams
  • Monitor and report on the progress of ongoing business and development projects, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and investment priorities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to collect, validate, and consolidate project[1]related information, and prepare structured updates for senior management and investment committees
  • Review and analyze project budgets versus actual expenditures, identify variances, and forecast future financial requirements to support planning and internal approvals
  • Conduct comprehensive market and industry research to monitor trends, regulatory developments, and external factors impacting current and future projects
  • Define, establish, and track KPIs aligned with business and investment objectives, and provide regular performance reporting and insights to senior management
  • Collaborate with Corporate Planning and project stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and best practices in investment planning and governance
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support to business units and project teams, including financial analysis, scenario evaluation, and decision-support reporting
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution efficiency
