About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of policies, procedures, and initiatives for assigned services within Population Health. The Director will work collaboratively with insurance and clinic/hospital partners to develop Population Health programs, establish service area goals and standards aligned with medical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements, and direct staffing activities including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education. The position also involves preparing the service area budget and coordinating internal and external audits.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience (leading people, teams, or departments)
Master's degree required
Prior experience with Maryland's Total Cost of Care (TCOC) reimbursement model and value-based contracting

Responsibilities

Prepare service area budget and ensure that department operates within allocated funds.
Coordinate and direct internal and external driven audits.
