About The Position

Centennial Peaks Hospital, a 104-bed facility in Louisville, CO, has been providing psychiatric services for over 30 years. We offer individualized programming for adults, including inpatient services, Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient, and Partial Hospitalization Programs. We are currently seeking a Director of Plant Operations (DPO) to join our leadership team. The DPO is responsible for the quality and safety of the physical facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. This role involves managing IT, housekeeping, and dietary operations, fostering interdepartmental relationships, and maintaining a safe environment for patients, employees, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Degree in facility management or related field preferred; or equivalent in related experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years related experience, at least one year of management experience, and thorough knowledge and experience with Joint Commission accreditation, reading blueprints and understand Life Safety Code and OSHA Regulations along with Title 22 and Title 24 knowledge.
  • Type 35+ WPM, Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn specialized plant management systems and data entry.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in plant management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Plant and ongoing assessment and improvement of all services
  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the operations of the Maintenance department.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, including Joint Commission Standards, Life Safety Code, NFPA, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and Local agencies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • Manages staff and contractors to adequately to ensure and maintain the efficient and safe operation of all hospital buildings.
  • Plans, predicts, maintains and repairs building and equipment. Utilizes energy management and tracking tools in order to maintain efficient utility operations.
  • Develops and manages operating and capital budgets.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
