The Physical Plant Director is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all physical facilities owned or assigned to the College, including maintenance, repair, safety, functionality, sustainability, appearance, grounds, utilities, infrastructure, equipment, and related physical assets at all DSCC locations. This position provides administrative support to the Vice President for Information Technology and Facilities Management and to the President of the College; leads maintenance, custodial, grounds, environmental health, and workplace-safety activities; and serves as a principal campus liaison for Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) capital projects, architects, engineers, contractors, regulators, and service providers. This position reports directly to the Vice President for Information Technology and Facilities Management.
