The Director of Philanthropy is a senior development leader responsible for driving seven-figure annual philanthropic revenue in support of CommuniCare+OLE’s mission across its three-county service region. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), this role leads comprehensive fundraising strategy with a strong focus on fundraising events, major gifts, private foundations, planned giving, and strategic donor communications. The Director of Philanthropy oversees a growing philanthropy team, manages a portfolio of high-capacity donors and institutional funders, and builds long-term philanthropic partnerships that advance sustainable revenue growth. This position plays a critical role in executing the organization’s development strategy and strengthening a culture of philanthropy across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven leader with demonstrated success closing six- and seven-figure gifts, running large-scale donor events, building high-performing teams, and developing long-term donor pipelines.
