About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading healthcare organization to hire a Director of Pharmacy to oversee hospital, retail, specialty, and ambulatory pharmacy services. This leadership role is responsible for clinical quality, medication safety, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and strategic growth of pharmacy operations. The Director will collaborate closely with medical staff and executive leadership to ensure exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Master’s or Doctorate preferred)
- Montana Registered Pharmacist license (or eligible)
- 5+ years of pharmacy practice with leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of medication safety, regulatory standards, and pharmacy operations
- Proven leadership, communication, and financial management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all pharmacy services and clinical programs
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Oversee medication safety, quality, and regulatory performance
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets
- Partner with physicians and leadership on pharmacy strategy and growth
- Recruit, develop, and lead pharmacy staff and residency programs
