Woodmark Pharmacy of New York is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy Revenue Cycle to lead all billing, accounts receivable, and revenue cycle operations within our long-term care pharmacy business. This is a high-impact, highly accountable leadership role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and performance of the entire pharmacy revenue cycle. Our billing and revenue cycle operations are centralized, and all team members work in-office to ensure consistency, collaboration, and operational stability. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management, preferably within healthcare or pharmacy services
  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing direct reports
  • Strong experience in collections, invoicing, and reconciliation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with complex formulas, data manipulation, and multi-criteria analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with remote teams and using digital collaboration tools

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or long-term care pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with third-party pricing tools and pharmacy dispensing systems
  • Experience managing internal audits or working closely with auditors

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all billing functions, including invoicing, month-end close, credit processing, and variance reconciliation
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all revenue cycle activities
  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Lead A/R strategy, collections performance, and cash application processes
  • Partner with accounting and treasury to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Monitor and manage key revenue cycle KPIs
  • Serve as primary liaison for internal and external audits
  • Ensure strong internal controls and audit readiness
  • Partner with accounting on audit findings, reserves, and reporting
  • Oversee pricing administration across pharmacy systems
  • Maintain relationships with third-party pricing tools and vendors
  • Ensure data accuracy through QA processes and controls
  • Lead and develop a team including: Billing Manager A/R Revenue Cycle Manager Quality Assurance Specialist
  • Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
  • Build a disciplined, high-performing revenue cycle team
