About The Position
The Director of Patient Business Services is responsible for directing and coordinating the organization's billing, collections, and cashier functions. The Director will also be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and completing performance evaluations of staff members. This role provides oversight for daily multi-disciplinary operations and staff, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 5 years of medical billing experience.
- Acceptable credit check.
- Keyboarding minimum of 50 wpm.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to comprehend, train, and apply given information.
- Able to multi-task with many interruptions.
Nice To Haves
- Associate Degree in Business or Health Care field preferred.
- Current Certification preferred through the American Association of Health Care Administrative Management or Medical-Dental-Hospital Business Associates.
- 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
