About The Position

We are looking for a Director of Paid Media: a cross-channel performance architect, revenue-minded growth driver, and AI-native operator who wants to build something, not just run something. This is a director-level position. You will own the strategy, lead a growing team of PPC Specialists and media buyers, drive attribution infrastructure, and ensure every media dollar generates measurable outcomes. Critically, this person will also serve as a strategic AI contributor, feeding elev8's internal AI infrastructure with paid media best practices, smart prompts, and performance frameworks that make our entire organization smarter over time.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of paid media experience, ideally in an agency managing high-intent B2C lead gen
  • Proven track record managing $500K+ monthly ad budgets with measurable CAC improvements
  • Expert fluency in Google Ads and Meta Ads; strong attribution and tracking fundamentals (GA4, GTM, call tracking)
  • Director-level team leadership experience — you've hired, coached, and promoted paid media talent
  • Demonstrable AI fluency — you use AI in your daily workflow and can build frameworks others learn from
  • United States based preferred; LATAM candidates considered with C1 English proficiency

  • Background in health, wellness, behavioral health, or adjacent regulated industries a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Own full-funnel paid media strategy across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft/Bing, programmatic, and emerging platforms
  • Establish portfolio-level performance benchmarks: CPL, CPA, ROAS, and CAC:LTV ratios
  • Own daily and monthly budget pacing and forecast portfolio growth toward $1M+/month in managed spend
  • Build, lead, and mentor a growing team of PPC Specialists and media buyers
  • Run structured 1:1s, set performance expectations, and develop talent toward promotion
  • Own the full attribution roadmap: GA4, GTM, call tracking (CTM, CallRail, Further), offline conversion imports, and CRM integration
  • Deliver high-fidelity dashboards and performance reports that influence strategy, not just show metrics
  • Operate as elev8's AI-native paid media practitioner, build prompt libraries, document frameworks, and contribute to internal AI tooling
  • Lead adoption of AI and automation across the team to reduce manual work and raise the performance ceiling
