Director of Outpatient Services
About The Position
Ridgeview Institute Monroe is seeking an empathetic and dedicated Director of Outpatient Services to positively impact the mental well-being of individuals. As Director of Outpatient Services, you will be an integral part of the treatment team, providing continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients across various age groups from adolescents to geriatrics. Working under the guidance of a Director of Clinical Services, you'll contribute to creating a therapeutic environment that fosters patient support and well-being. You will represent the Outpatient Services Department at the executive level and, in consultation with the Medical Director, plan, develop, and implement formal and organized clinical services programs as part of the therapeutic environment. You will develop and organize programs of clinical services based on specialized patient populations, maintain an awareness of community and market-related activities, and provide a broad vision in the development of programs and the evaluation of current services offered. Strategically solve problems that encompass the larger view of the organization, and establish goals by utilizing an understanding of organizational dynamics in planning and problem solving. You will remain current on all clinical techniques and provide direction to staff and facility personnel.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, social work, or related mental health field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice
- Appropriate Georgia state licensure in mental health
- A strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.

Responsibilities

- Remain current on all clinical techniques, and provide direction to staff and facility personnel.
