Director of Operations

Sullivan Environmental Services IncSeguin, TX

About The Position

Worldwide Employee Housing (WEH) designs, builds, and operates turnkey workforce housing for the energy sector and large-scale commercial construction. From remote oilfield camps to lodging for major data center and infrastructure builds, we deliver clean, safe, and reliable accommodations that keep our clients' crews productive in the field. As we expand into new commercial markets, we are looking for an operations leader who can scale our project execution without losing the hands-on, get-it-done culture that built the company.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive operations or project management leadership in construction, modular/manufactured housing, energy services, or a related field.
  • Proven track record running multiple commercial projects at once, on time and on budget.
  • Strong financial acumen — budgets, job costing, margins, and reading a P&L.
  • Experience managing remote field crews, logistics, and multi-site operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Willingness to travel to active project sites as needed.
  • Working knowledge of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in workforce housing, man-camps, or energy-sector lodging.
  • Familiarity with the oil & gas or data center / infrastructure construction markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, engineering, or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own full project lifecycle for all commercial jobs — estimating handoff, mobilization, site setup, build-out, occupancy, and demobilization.
  • Hold projects accountable to schedule, budget, and scope; manage change orders and protect project margin.
  • Coordinate logistics for units, materials, utilities, and crews across multiple remote sites simultaneously.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for clients and general contractors, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Direct all day-to-day operations — project managers, site supervisors, field crews, and subcontractors.
  • Build and enforce standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards across every site.
  • Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, pricing, and performance.
  • Oversee fleet, equipment, inventory, and asset utilization to control cost and downtime.
  • Own operational budgets, job costing, and margin performance; report results and forecasts to the CEO.
  • Identify and execute cost-reduction and efficiency opportunities across projects and overhead.
  • Partner with leadership on bidding, capacity planning, and expansion into new commercial markets (including data center construction).
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team; build bench strength as the company scales.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives tied to project and company results.
  • A senior leadership seat with direct access to ownership and real decision-making authority.
  • The opportunity to build and scale operations for a growing company in an expanding market.
