About The Position

Pratt & Whitney has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Operations at our West Palm Beach, FL facility supporting GTF MRO. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing operational performance, regulatory compliance, and financial delivery across the engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul operation within the site's GTF MRO business. Your key responsibilities will include: Lead end‑to‑end engine GTF MRO operations from engine induction through engine delivery. Drive safety, quality and operational performance, as well as championing CORE/continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with engineering, quality, materials, and regulatory compliance teams supporting a FAR145 repair station Manage site operating rhythms such as Tiered Escalation, AMO Business Unit reviews, and EH&S/Ops councils. Lead workforce engagement across ~270 hourly and ~23 salaried employees, including HR and bargaining‑unit collaboration. Manage financial performance through operational deliverables affecting: Sales, EBIT, CPH, COPQ, and CAPEX. Direct long‑range planning, capacity optimization, and business strategy execution. Support customer audits, site tours, external engagement, and community outreach

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 14+ years of prior relevant experience; OR Master's Degree and 12+ years of experience
  • Proven leadership experience in aerospace, MRO, industrial operations, or complex manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of engine overhaul processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and drive engagement across hourly and salaried workforces
  • Experience managing financial performance, budgets, and operational KPIs
