About The Position

The Director of Operations at Magendzo Law is a newly created role aimed at driving operational enhancements to support our ambitious growth goals. This role is instrumental in establishing processes and systems that will enhance service delivery, team cohesion, and client satisfaction. By integrating strategic leadership with day-to-day management, the Director will ensure our firm remains at the forefront of personal injury law advocacy.

Requirements

  • Experience Required: Minimum of 2-3 years in operations or a similar role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams, including international teams, with a focus on outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused mindset and capability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to navigate complex team dynamics and support effective collaboration.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Office 365 and phone systems like Capture Now.
  • No-Drama Policy: Candidates must exhibit a maturity level that supports a drama-free, respectful workplace.
  • Self-Motivated: Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, especially in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in AI integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the operational teams, including onshore and offshore staff, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals.
  • Process Development: Create and implement effective processes and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • KPI Management: Develop and monitor key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • HR Responsibilities: Manage employee relations, support career path development, and oversee HR-related tasks.
  • Vendor Management: Handle all vendor contracts and relationships, ensuring alignment and value for the firm.
  • Offshore Team Management: Lead and manage the offshore team, ensuring clear communication and efficiency across borders.
  • Operational Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to support the firm's strategic objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Travel Coordination: Coordinate occasional travel to Latin American locations to support team integration and collaboration.
