About The Position

Regal Brands is seeking a Director of Operations to lead their warehouse, assembly, shipping, and quality control teams in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing leadership for approximately 40 employees and three managers across shipping, logistics, receiving, warehousing, assembly, and quality control departments. The Director of Operations will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, managing departmental budgets, leading and developing staff, identifying and mitigating risks, assisting with new product development, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The company is a growing entity in the home décor space, producing decorative hardware products sold through various e-commerce platforms and showrooms.

Requirements

  • 10 years of senior leadership experience in e-commerce, fulfillment, manufacturing, or a similar area.
  • Subject matter expertise in LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or a similar area.
  • Experience with e-commerce, ideally with systems such as Shopify.
  • Experience creating, managing, and updating Gantt charts.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and new product introduction (NPI) processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for approximately 40 employees and three managers across shipping, logistics, receiving, warehousing, assembly, and quality control teams.
  • Lead multiple department managers while driving continuous improvement efforts.
  • Oversee warehouse shipping, receiving, and assembly/packing teams, responsible for receiving inventory, storing products, assembling customer orders, and shipping complete orders.
  • Manage the Quality Control team, responsible for inspecting products and ensuring they are free of defects before being released into inventory.
  • Oversee individual contributors, including the Buyer and Project Manager.
  • Overall responsibility for day-to-day operations.
  • Managing departmental budgets.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing managers and employees.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing the project manager.
  • Identifying risks early and leading mitigation strategies.
  • Assisting with new product development.
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
