The Director of Operations serves as a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for the strategic leadership, oversight, and performance of all operational functions of Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, including shelter operations, veterinary services, animal care, adoptions, intake, foster programs, behavior and training, customer service, facilities, and related support functions. This position develops and implements operational strategies that advance the organization's mission, increase lifesaving capacity, expand access to care, improve animal outcomes, and strengthen services provided to pets and people throughout the community. The Director of Operations ensures that resources, staffing, facilities, and systems are aligned to support organizational goals while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, veterinary care, customer service, and operational effectiveness. Working closely with the Executive Director and leadership team, the Director of Operations drives strategic planning initiatives, identifies opportunities for innovation and growth, and develops scalable programs and processes that enable Pet Alliance to save more lives, serve more animals, and increase its impact throughout Central Florida.
