The Director of Operations manages department leaders, including Food & Beverage and Lifestyle, ensuring operations consistently meet the expectations and standards of the Board of Directors, residents, guests, and KWPMC. This role is directly responsible for the performance of the Food & Beverage and Lifestyle departments, overseeing all aspects from restaurants and bars to resident events and wellness programming. The Director of Operations ensures exceptional hospitality, financial performance, food quality, and service standards are maintained through cost-effective practices and operational enhancements. They also develop, monitor, and report on departmental budgets and labor costs, advising executive leadership on variances and implementing corrective actions. This position plays a key role in hiring, coaching, developing, and mentoring department leaders, fostering accountability and continuous improvement while ensuring company policies are administered fairly and compliantly. The Director of Operations stays current with industry best practices to promote innovation and participates in Board and resident meetings as needed. A flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, is required.
