A rapidly growing real estate investment company is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee and optimize its expanding self-storage portfolio. The company currently operates five self-storage facilities across Albany, NY, New Jersey, New York City, Connecticut, and the Bronx, with plans to acquire and integrate an additional facility approximately every three months. The long-term goal is to significantly expand the portfolio, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building scalable operations. This is a hands-on operational leadership role responsible for the day-to-day performance of the self-storage portfolio. The Director of Operations will oversee facility managers, implement operational systems, improve financial performance, optimize revenue management, and ensure every property is operating efficiently. Each facility has an on-site manager; however, this role is responsible for providing the leadership, accountability, and operational oversight needed to maximize performance across the portfolio. The ideal candidate is someone who has successfully operated real estate portfolios, enjoys improving processes, and is comfortable managing multiple properties in a fast-paced growth environment.
