The Director of Operations will oversee warehouse departments, focusing on developing and enforcing quality and production standards. This role handles operations staffing, training, and functionality, as well as departmental tooling and material acquisition. The Director will monitor and evaluate operations output, ensure OSHA safety and compliance, and oversee the determination and acquisition of sub-rented assets and transport needs. A key responsibility is ensuring the proper usage of R2 tasks related to confirmed jobs, sub-rentals, and transfers, as well as maintaining asset maintenance tools within R2. The role also involves ensuring the maintenance of warehouse, vehicles, tools, safety equipment, and operational assets. The Director will review all operations and warehouse purchases and rentals, coordinate with IT on R2 training and development for operations, and collaborate with the inventory team. This includes developing action inventory policy, overseeing cycle counts, and improving the utilization and efficiency of in-house staff technicians. Continuous monitoring of all these areas is expected with an aim to improve quality, lessen overhead, and build a functioning operations/warehouse team. Collaboration with other Operation Directors is essential to formalize and implement efficiencies and cost-saving operational procedures for CT.
