About The Position

Join our fast-paced and passionate team as a Director of Operations. As we scale, you will be instrumental in building our operational foundation from the ground up, serving as the bridge between executive vision and day-to-day execution. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for a self-starter who thrives in a fluid startup environment. You'll have the opportunity to build the infrastructure that allows our innovations to scale and develop engineering-adjacent practices that support our mission and growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related technical field
12+ years of experience in technical operations, product operations, manufacturing, supply chain, program management, or related leadership roles
Experience supporting products through development, prototyping, manufacturing scale-up, and commercialization
Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and operational scaling challenges
Experience working with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and external technical partners
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments
Strong financial and operational decision-making capabilities
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Must be a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) due to access to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

Build and lead our procurement engine, owning supplier selection, long-term forecasting, and strategic vendor management.
Establish and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) and supplier quality programs.
Partner closely with engineering and product development teams to ensure product decisions support long-term manufacturability, scalability, reliability, and cost targets.
Oversee all shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and a seamless flow of materials.
Manage the Bill of Materials and track project costs, aligning build and delivery schedules with company budgets and milestones.
Be responsible for the physical workspace, including lab management, and critical operational support like parts cleaning.
Work hand-in-hand with Engineering on component integration; with Manufacturing on DFx and reliability; and with Business Development to align operational capacity with our growth roadmap.
