About The Position

Hospitality Staffing Solutions (HSS) is seeking an experienced hospitality operations leader to oversee all operational functions for a full-service resort property in the Ocean City, MD area. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and leadership development across all departments. The ideal candidate will be highly visible on property, guest-focused, and experienced in leading complex hotel operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of senior hospitality operations leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Sales, Recreation, and hotel operations
  • Proven leadership and team development experience within resort or full-service hotel environments
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, payroll controls, and operational expense management
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel operational systems
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as required
  • Ability to move throughout the property and work in varying operational conditions

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all hotel departments to ensure operational efficiency and exceptional guest service
  • Partner with department leaders to align operational priorities with financial and guest satisfaction goals
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality, safety, and brand standards are consistently met
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance initiatives
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate department managers and operational leaders
  • Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and service performance metrics to improve the guest experience
  • Resolve escalated guest concerns and operational issues promptly and professionally
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, expense controls, and revenue optimization efforts
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and guest-focused service
  • Build strong relationships with guests, condominium owners, vendors, and community partners
  • Support emergency preparedness, crisis management, and safety initiatives
  • Serve as Acting General Manager in the absence of the GM
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
