About The Position
Our client is a fast-growing live events and AV production company moving beyond founder-led operations. They are hiring a Director of Operations to take full control of execution, systems, and accountability. If you avoid enforcing standards or prefer influence over authority, this role is not for you. Heroics are not the goal. Repeatable execution is.
Requirements
- 7–12+ years in live events, AV production, or production-heavy operations
- Proven experience running complex projects on time and on budget
- Direct people-management experience
- Strong execution background (live production, broadcast, construction, manufacturing, military ops a plus)
Responsibilities
- End-to-end operational systems and process enforcement
- Project readiness, budgets, timelines, staffing, and logistics
- Sales → PM → Production → Warehouse handoffs
- Direct management of Project Managers and Production Supervisors
- Onsite leadership for complex live events
- Post-event reviews that drive real change (not excuses)
