About The Position

The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for ensuring assigned surgical centers and initiatives are operated within performance and regulatory objectives. This role provides training and coaching to Clinical Managers on key job responsibilities while fostering strong working relationships built on ongoing communication and trust. The Director will travel and perform onsite visits to assigned surgical centers for the purpose of training, evaluation, and implementation as needed. They will ensure all surgical centers in a designated geography, current and future, have the proper licenses and accreditations in a timely manner. This role collaborates with the Compliance Specialist to drive adherence to compliance requirements in accordance with state and AAAASF regulations. Additionally, the Director will set up accounts with local vendors (e.g., cleaning, biomedical waste removal) and manage for employee retention to keep team members motivated and drive employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills including change management and employee engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in training, coaching and performance management.
  • Strong business acumen with the know-how on driving operational excellence and excellent customer service.
  • Excellent team player with thought leadership skills.
  • 3+ years practice management experience in a management level position.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment including clinic operations, financial management, quality management and risk management in a medium size medical facility.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).

  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or healthcare related preferred.
