The Director of Operations Performance & Strategy shapes and scales the enterprise operating model, driving measurable improvements in productivity, profitability, customer experience, and operational excellence through strategic planning, process optimization, and data-driven performance management. This role partners across the organization to advance a continuous-improvement culture focused on accountability, transparency, and results—aligning people, processes, and data to inform executive decision-making and support long-term growth. In the Role Lead enterprise operational strategy and the continuous improvement agenda Establish enterprise-wide performance metrics, dashboards, and governance routines Define playbooks and expectations for identifying, addressing, and reporting on performance gaps Prioritize and guide cross-functional initiatives across technology, analytics, product, digital, and finance Assess operational performance, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities Develop scalable analytical frameworks, metrics, and executive-ready performance materials Synthesize complex data to identify root causes and deliver actionable recommendations Partner with leaders to align operational strategy to business objectives Ensure cost efficiency, effective resource utilization, and high-quality execution Prepare materials for senior leadership and executive forums Build team capability through coaching and thought leadership Stay current on industry trends and best practices Requirements 10+ years of experience in operations, performance management, analytics, change management, or business leadership Strong understanding of consumer-lending operations Proven success leading complex, enterprise-level initiatives Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills Bachelor’s degree required Preferred: Financial services experience Project management certification or equivalent experience Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools Experience influencing senior leaders and working cross-functionally Enterprise mindset with strong organizational agility Experience coaching and developing high-performing teams Location: Hybrid in Wilmington, DE Who we Are OneMain Financial (NYSE: OMF) is the leader in offering nonprime customers responsible access to credit and is dedicated to improving the financial well-being of hardworking Americans.
