About The Position

Reporting to the Head Football Coach, the Director of Operations is responsible for day to day operations of the Football program.

Requirements

  • Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) as well as SungardHE Banner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations, the University community and the public.
  • Ability to maintain files accurately, in paper and in software programs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to effectively supervise personnel and complete all associated personnel actions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to seek out and initiate methods of conducting duties and responsibilities to produce greater efficiency.
  • Ability to project a positive, customer-service attitude.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A proven record of integrity, high principles and demonstrated skill in developing and motivating student athletes academically and athletically.
  • A background check will be required of the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and set up Team meetings
  • Update and communicate via Team-works with team and staff
  • Team housing liaison
  • Prepare team food plans
  • Team and Head coach travel set-up
  • Handle purchasing procedures and software
  • Manage travel card/purchase card
  • Car Dealer Liaison
  • Manage practice guest list
  • Manage official visits
  • Upkeep of staff notes and Head Coach responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance software
  • Other duties assigned by the Head Coach.
