Performance Contracting Group, located in Lenexa, KS is building the operating infrastructure for its next era of growth. The Director of Operational Transformation is responsible for advancing this work with speed, discipline, and measurable outcomes. This role owns the full lifecycle of operational change; defining needs, implementing platforms, driving adoption, and ensuring long-term sustainability of tools and processes. This is a newly created, director-level position reporting to the EVP. The role is designed for a senior operations leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate understands how change moves through a field-based organization and can ensure adoption at scale. This individual will chair the Operations Change Committee, lead a team of Program Managers, and serve as the primary bridge between operations leadership and the platforms, tools, and processes that support the business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, project management, or change management, preferably in a field-based or construction environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading platform implementations or large-scale operational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong project management discipline with the ability to lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience operating at a director level or as a senior individual contributor.

  • Familiarity with operational platforms and tools such as CRM systems, Power BI, and workflow management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the operations transformation roadmap, sequencing initiatives based on business impact, resource availability, and organizational readiness.
  • Chair the Operations Change Committee, managing structured intake, prioritization, and execution of all operational initiatives.
  • Lead Program Managers through the full initiative lifecycle: requirements, build or vendor engagement, deployment, field training, adoption measurement, and long-term ownership.
  • Establish and govern a perpetual ownership model, ensuring all platforms have defined owners, active vendor management, and ongoing roadmap oversight.
  • Partner with IT, Marketing, Technical Training, Finance, HR, and regional SMEs to build and lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of operational platforms, including CRM, Power BI, AI tools, Schedule of Values, Change Order Log, Labor Tracking, Monday.com, and business planning tools.
  • Oversee the full change management lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership (EVP, SVPs) and execution teams, translating business needs into actionable plans.
  • Report regularly to the EVP and Operations Leadership Team (OLT) on initiative status, pipeline health, adoption metrics, and resource needs.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, including recruiting, developing, and retaining Program Managers.
