About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing for an exciting Travel or Local job in Gifford, IL. This position offers a flexible day schedule with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Active RN license (IL or compact)
- Previous DON or leadership experience in LTC
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2–3 years leadership experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and staff performance
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Develop and implement care plans and clinical policies
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation
