About The Position
The Director of Nursing works with the System Director of Surgical Services to provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the Department of Surgery. This position oversees preadmission testing, PRE/POST OP, OR, PACU, and Outpatient infusions. They will be reporting to the System Director of Surgical Services.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 4 years RN experience, preferably in the surgical/Perioperative area.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate others.
- Excellent physician relationship skills.
Nice To Haves
- Management experience preferred.
