Requirements

Active Louisiana RN license in good standing
Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or Nurse Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility
Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and survey processes
Proven leadership experience managing nursing teams and clinical operations
Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and CMS compliance requirements
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to lead through change and improve clinical outcomes

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing operations within the facility
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS guidelines
Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff and department leaders
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and labor management
Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Maintain survey readiness and coordinate plans of correction when necessary
Monitor clinical outcomes, infection prevention initiatives, and resident care standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident outcomes
Manage nursing budgets, supplies, and operational efficiency
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality care and staff engagement
