Director of Nursing Full Time
About The Position
Pine Creek Rehab, a skilled nursing facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, is hiring a full-time Director of Nursing. The facility aims to provide patients with high-quality care, maximize functional independence, and support safe discharge to the next level of care. Requirements
- Minimum associate degree.
- Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Minimum one year of successful nursing leadership experience in a long-term care facility or other geriatric healthcare facility.
- Ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner.
- Must speak and understand English.
- Genuine love and concern for the geriatric population.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain nursing programs and activities.
- Develop, maintain, and periodically update written nursing policies, procedures, manuals, objectives, and philosophies.
- Assist in developing and implementing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services.
- Implement plans of action to correct deficiencies.
- Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charts, and related documentation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a quality assurance program.
- Assist in planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining resident discharge procedures and plans.
- Develop and implement a nursing services organization structure.
- Participate in surveys and inspections by government agencies.
- Create and submit reports and recommendations to the Administrator concerning department operations.
