About The Position

Helping Hand Nurse, LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for our home health patients. Helping Hand Nurse is a home health care agency. We provide nonmedical and medical services.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Computer savvy
• Home Health Nursing supervisory Experience
• Must drive and be comfortable visiting patients in the home to coordinate care sometimes as well as working in an office setting

Responsibilities

• Oversees all patient care services, clinical personnel, and the financial performance of the agency.
• Helps hire, evaluate, and term personnel.
• Ensures that coordination of care and documentation occurs between staff and patient/family/representative and facility and other outside agencies.
• Completes OASIS start of cares and recertifications.
• Oversees the Agency’s ongoing Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
• Investigates, resolves and reports any problem relating to patient care and employee well-being.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of Medicare Home Health regulations, Conditions of Participation, licensure laws and accrediting body regulations so that the organization is in compliance with accepted standards of practice.
