About The Position

Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. Requirements

• Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 5 years Acute Care experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years previous Administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and administers areas of clinical and patient care services to attain facility's objectives established by hospital administration.
• Develops and implements hospital plans for providing nursing care, treatment, and clinical services to those patients requiring care treatment and services.
• Participates with the management, medical staff and clinical leaders in the facility's decision making structures and processes.
• Implements an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care, treatment and services delivered to patients.
