About The Position
We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and support nursing services in a skilled nursing environment in the Cincinnati, OH area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN leader who enjoys building strong teams, improving clinical outcomes, and creating a positive culture of care.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Ohio
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a nursing team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Previous nursing leadership experience preferred
- DON, ADON, Unit Manager, Nurse Manager, or similar supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Skilled nursing/long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department
- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and clinical services
- Support, coach, and develop nursing staff
- Monitor quality measures, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Assist with surveys, audits, and implementation of corrective action plans
- Promote excellent resident care and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor staffing and help ensure appropriate nursing coverage
- Build accountability while maintaining a positive and supportive team environment
