At Chantilly Heights in Fairfax County, compassionate memory care meets the comfort of home. We’re hiring a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of care for our community.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in VA, in good standing.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of nursing leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of regulations, compliance, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the nursing department, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
- Lead, mentor, and coach nursing staff to deliver exceptional resident-centered care.
- Collaborate with physicians and families to support residents’ health and quality of life.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff.
