Director of Nursing | DON | RN
About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) | RN to administer and manage Nursing Services for residents. This role involves ensuring care is provided in accordance with physician orders and meeting the total needs of the residents. The DON is responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services, directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards, and assuming responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator. The company emphasizes a culture of learning and mentorship for its Nurse Leaders.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
- A fire and passion for working with seniors.
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
