About The Position

The TCBH Nursing Department is hiring for a Director of Nursing that would be responsible for management duties including planning, organizing, and integrating various functions such as directing staff in meeting goals and objectives of the facility.

Requirements

Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
Four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity
One additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program
Two additional years of professional nursing experience in an administrative capacity.
A bachelor’s degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity
One additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program
Two additional years of professional nursing experience in an administrative capacity.
A master’s degree and two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity
One additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program
Two additional years of professional nursing experience in an administrative capacity.
Must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
Must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
Upon appointment, incumbents designated by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services shall complete certification in one of the following required Departmental sponsored training in case management: Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager – Adult; Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager – Child, Adolescent and Family; or Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager – Dual Certification.
Applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
