About The Position

Compass Surgical Partners is seeking an experienced clinical leader to serve as Director of Nursing at Short Pump Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgery Center. As the senior clinical leader for the center, you’ll be responsible for building and leading the clinical team, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance, and establishing the clinical standards and operating practices that will support the center from launch through long-term growth. Working closely with the center CEO, physician partners, and Compass clinical leadership, you’ll play a critical role in creating a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and collaboration while ensuring the center delivers safe, efficient, high-quality cardiovascular care. The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees all nursing services and clinical operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care. This full-time, exempt leadership role supervises the clinical team and manages patient care for outpatient cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures, across one procedure room.

Requirements

• Active RN license with BLS, and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of nursing leadership, preferably in outpatient surgery
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
