Requirements

• Excellent communication, supervisory, and management skills required.
• Ability to work well under pressure, establish priorities and adapt to change.
• Ability to work with patients of all ages including elderly patient in long-term care and patients in the emergency department.
• A self-motivated, creative, and positive personality.
• Ability to work with staff, family members, and community.
• Possess patience, good organizational skills, assertiveness, and be a conscientious person.
• Present a professional appearance.
• Be available for training, including overnight out of town events.
• Be flexible in working hours so that weekend or evening events may be provided and care can be provided safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the oversight, management and regulatory compliance of nursing and nursing support services delivered at Granite County Medical Center and Drummond Clinic.
• Oversees staffing requirements, staffing education, onboarding and clinical quality of care to align with best practices.
• Ensures all nursing staff are operating within scope of practice and that all licensure and required certifications are keep up to date.
