About The Position
Brookestone View is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department and continue our tradition of providing exceptional care in a warm, resident-centered environment. As the Director of Nursing, you will provide clinical leadership, mentor and develop nursing team members, ensure quality care, and help create a culture where both residents and team members thrive.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and nursing standards.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- A servant leader who enjoys mentoring others and creating a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing nursing team committed to exceptional resident care.
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, HIPAA, and all federal and state regulations.
- Monitor clinical quality measures and promote continuous quality improvement.
- Oversee accurate and timely EMR/EHR documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, department leaders, residents, and families to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and nursing resources to provide quality care.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on accountability, communication, and respect.
- Participate in the facility's on-call rotation.
- Promote Brookestone View's mission of providing dignity, compassion, and excellence in senior care.
