Florida Kidney Physicians (FKP), part of the Panoramic Health network, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations at our state-of-the-art Brandon Surgery Center. The FKP Brandon Surgery Center is a premier outpatient vascular access center dedicated to caring for patients with chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease. Our experienced team performs specialized minimally invasive procedures that help dialysis patients maintain safe, reliable vascular access while avoiding unnecessary hospital visits. Our modern, approximately 10,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center features: Five fully equipped operating rooms, Advanced imaging and procedural technology, Highly specialized physicians and clinical staff, A collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), surgical services, procedural center, or operating room setting.
Strong knowledge of CMS, AAAHC, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
CNOR or other relevant specialty certification.
Experience in vascular surgery, interventional radiology, dialysis access, or outpatient procedural services.
Experience managing quality improvement and accreditation surveys.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and oversight for nursing and clinical operations.
Foster a culture centered on patient safety, quality, teamwork, and accountability.
Ensure delivery of exceptional patient care throughout the surgical experience.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
Oversee daily surgery center operations to maximize efficiency and patient flow.
Manage staffing schedules, productivity, and clinical resource allocation.
Collaborate with physicians and leadership to optimize workflow and operational performance.
Support ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with AAAHC, CMS, OSHA, state licensing requirements, and all regulatory standards.
Lead quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
Oversee infection prevention initiatives and risk management activities.
Monitor clinical quality metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain readiness for accreditation and regulatory surveys.
Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing clinical staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
Promote employee engagement and professional development.
Lead staff meetings, education initiatives, and competency assessments.
Assist with budgeting and expense management.
Monitor supply utilization and inventory management.
Partner with leadership to achieve financial and operational goals while maintaining exceptional patient care.
